Went to the MANZ conference in Hamilton last week. Interesting talk from one of the speakers about saving money on things like heating, lighting and water use.
Amazed to hear that the return on investment for heat pumps is between 12 and 17 years (for those in domestic usage anyway). No suprise that one of the first questions from the floor was around the expected life span of such units!
What I want to know is why these greenies don't practice what they preach - this guy jetted in from Australia to talk at the conference..
I wonder if he gets CFL induced headaches?

It had to happen..
After 10+ years experience in the industry developing websites, booking systems and IT solutions it is about time we gave our opinion on everything tourism.
I can't promise that we will be as funny as some of the other blogs out there but I can promise you we will try our best to inform (and annoy our competition!).
Whilst I might appear very technical I actually hate the hype surrounding most technology. It is the benefits that technology bring rather than the technology itself that is important. Thats why you won't see me carrying an iPhone - mobiles are strictly for making calls only!
